American Adds Mainline Chicago – Madison Service in 1Q27

American Airlines in the first quarter of 2027 plans to add mainline service on Chicago O'Hare – Madison route, reflected in recent schedule update. From 06JAN27 to 10FEB27 (Chicago departure), 1 of 7 daily flight to be operated by Airbus A319, instead of Embraer E170/175 aircraft.

Apart from few one-off service, this would mark the return of American’s mainline service on regular scheduled basis since 1992-93.
