Austrian Airlines in January 2027 plans to discontinue Vienna – Zagreb route, as the airline schedules last flight on 10JAN27. It currently serves this route on daily basis with Embraer E195 aircraft, including Air Dolomiti aircraft.

Austrian first launched service to Zagreb in 1986 with 1 weekly flight each on Vienna – Zagreb – Belgrade and Vienna – Belgrade – Zagreb routing with MD80 during summer season. It later changed to Vienna – Zagreb weekday service with Metroliner during winter 1986/87 season.
